S01E06: Triumph
3 Rounds: 30 seconds work 2 minutes rest Score: Your maximum (highest) watts. No rolling start allowed! It's been a fantastic journey, and as we mark our 3rd anniversary this October, we're thrilled to bring you the ErgZone Challenge #6! Over the past three years, we've dedicated ourselves to creating a robust tool for the erg community. Now, it's your turn to find your inner strength and discover your ultimate power! Here are some important notes: ✅ You don't have to row the entire 30-second interval. Once you hit your maximum watts, feel free to take a well-deserved break until the next round starts. Some coaches say 8-10 is the number of strokes you need to reach your maximum. Let us know if you find that to be true. ✅ No rolling starts! ErgZone will keep an eye on and will invalidate your score if an interval has a rolling start. Tips to avoid rolling start on this challenge: 💡 Don’t row during rest, but if you must, stop at least 20 seconds before the beginning of the next round. 💡 Wait for the next round to start on the PM5. If your first stroke starts before that, it will be considered a rolling start. 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘯𝘰 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵? We have seen PM5 calculating very unrealistic paces with a rolling start. To avoid that, we added some checks on the app with the information the PM5 provides that is not visible on the PM5 screen. 𝗠𝗮𝘅 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗿𝗴𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲+ Did you know that ErgZone+ members can access the “Max⚡” metric? It provides real-time tracking of the maximum watts per interval and the entire workout, even offering a visual cue with a red arrow if your power declines. This is a great resource at your disposal during training, especially for workouts like the one you're about to tackle. Let's make this anniversary celebration one for the books! Get ready to push your limits and show us your power.
